Shaldon Bakery, renowned for its dedication to British baking traditions and exceptional quality, came to us with a vision to revitalise their branding. With a current audience primarily aged 60 and above, their goal was to attract a younger demographic while preserving their beloved rustic simplicity. Our mission was to modernise their identity to resonate with a new generation that shares their passion for bread. Through a strategic redesign of their brand identity and digital presence, we’ve successfully blended Shaldon Bakery’s rich heritage with a contemporary edge. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of transforming their image to reflect both their artisanal roots and a vibrant, engaging new direction.
Logos
At the core of Shaldon Bakery's visual identity is a custom logo that embodies the brand's traditional and simplistic values. The primary logo features rustic lettering, with a cottage loaf —an iconic British bread—as the 'O' in "Shaldon." This clever design element highlights the bakery's commitment to classic British baking. The symbol consists of the outlines of the cottage loaf with Shaldon Bakery written in a circular form which feels approachable and friendly. To further emphasise their passion for bread, we illustrated a loaf radiating a warm glow, celebrating Shaldon Bakery's deep love for their craft.
